The annual staff retreat was held at Mya Sein Di Pa Hotel at Bagan at the end of January 2009. The first day was well spent as spiritual retreat for all staff. Main features of the retreat were (1) sharing the 2009 theme “Word of God: Source for comfort and strength” based on Isaiah 40 by Rev Khoi Lam Thang (Translation Officer), (2) special talk by General Secretary and (3) prayer – for Bible ministry, Mission in Myanmar and for other global family. The second day was reserved for excursion tour to Mount Popa and Ancient Myanmar city of Bagan.
