MISSION STATEMENT OF THE BIBLE SOCIETY OF MYANMAR

The Holy scriptures belong to all churches, recognizing that doctrinal interpretations of the scriptures belong to them. The Bible is for all people and therefore the Bible must be made accessible and affordable to all people. The ultimate goal of the activities of the Bible Society of Myanmar is the fulfillment of the Great Commission and its task is participation in the mission of God - Father, Son and Holy Spirit – as witnesses in the Holy Scripture.

"These are written so that you will put your faith in Jesus as the messiah and the Son of God. If you have faith in Him, you will have true life (John 20:31 CEV).

The Bible Society of Myanmar seeks to carry out its task in partnership and co-operation with all Christian Churches and with Church related organizations. It believes that informed and continuing prayer is the under girding prerequisite for all its activities.
