1. Children Bible
There are none of any kind of Children Bible in Myanmar Language. To meet the great need of the scripture for the children, plan was made by the Bible Society of Myanmar to start Children Bible project several years ago. However it could start only in 2002 and it would be ready for printing in 2005. It will be a new product of Bible Society of Myanmar and not only the Christian children but children of other faiths would be able to read the scripture in the Language they can understand through various outreach programs.

2. Asho Chin Common Language Bible
The Asho Chin are found in Arakan State, Western part of Myanmar and also in the middle part of Myanmar. They have become Christian since 1834. Their first New testament was done by missionary Dr. Condict, Asho Chin leader Samo Hla U and helpers and was published in 1954. The Asho Chin Common Language Bible project was started in 1981 and was completed in 1993. Due to some problems among the leaders as well as in typesetting, it took some years to be completed. Now only typesetting problems remain and it is hope that this could be solved with the help of RSC and it would be ready for printing in 2005. The Asho Chin people are yearning to have the Bible in common Language at the earliest possible.

3. Falam Chin Common language Bible (Revision)
The Falam Chin Bible was first translated by E. kyon Bill and continued by Dr. Stephen Hre Kio. It was published in 1991. The Falam Chin population is 60,000 and 98% are Christian. The revison of this Bible began in October 1993, and the committee of twelve has completed it in November 1996. The translation Consultant has checked it with a smaller committee and was completed in 2004. As Falam Bible is now out of stock, there is an urgent need.

4. Haka Chin Common Language Bible (Revision)
The Haka Chin entire Bible was published in 1987. They wanted 1987 version to be revised and made it available for their centennial celebration in March 1999. The work started in June 1996 and took 15 months to complete the revision Rev. David Van Bik was the reviser and the original translator with the help of Rev Robert Johnson, the last missionary to the Chins. This Bible was printed by the Indonesian Bible Society in 1999. Ten thousand copies were shipped to Myanmar and were sold out within a few months after recieveing them. But there are about (700) mistakes and it is essential for revision again. The revision was started in 2000 and was completed in 2004. It would be ready for printing in 2005.

5. Pwo Kayin Bible (Old Version )
The entire Pwo Kayin Bible was completed in 1884 by Rev D. L. Brayton, a missionary to the Pwo Kayin. The Pwo Kayin population is 200,000 and 30% are Christians. Most of them are animists. The Pwo Kayin Bible is out of stock for more than 15 years and there is urgent need to reprint it. THe Pwo kayin people, especially the Bible school students really need the Bible and the leaders have repeatedly requested for the print of Pwo Kayin Bible.

6. Lahu bible (Old Version)
Lahu is the ethnic minority group with the population of 200,000, live in the mountainous region,eastern part of Myanmar. 60% of Lahu population is Christian. They come to know Christ since 1904. The Lahu New Testament was translated by the Lahu Leaders with the help of the missionary to the Lahus and was published in 1932. The entire Bible was published in 1989. Lahu Churches are now engaged in special evangelism programs and their need is the Bible which is now out of stock in Myanmar. Therefore, the reprint of the lahu Bible is urgently needed for the evangelistic work.

7. Lisu Bible (Old Version)
Lisu is the ethnic minority group with the population of 200,000. 70% of Lisu population is Christian. Lisu have their first Bible 1968. Lisu churches are now enagaged in special evangelism programs among their own people and one of the greatest needs is the Bible which is now out of stock in Myanmar for more than five years. Therefore the reprint of the Lisu Bible is urgently needed for the church members as well as evangelistic programmes.

8. Lacid Common Language New Testament
The Lacid people are one of the ethnic minority groups of the kachin tribe with a population over one hundred thousand. Lacid Common Language New Testament project was started in 1991 and was completed in 2003. This is the first New Testament for Lacid people and therefore they are yearning for printing in 2005.

9. Paoh Common Language New Testament
The Pao people are one of the ethnic minority groups in Shan State with a population of 60,000. The Christian population among Pao people is less than 1% as they are deeply rooted in Buddhism. They have the New Testament in their own language translated by the missionary in 1961. There is the real need not only for the Pao Christian but also to the non-believers Pao people with the language they can read and understand clearly. Therefore the Pao Common Language New Testament project was started in 1987 and completed in 2003. The major problems in this project are creating the new fonts and typesetting which hopefully could be solved soon and it would be ready for printing in 2005.

10. Ngawn Chin Common Language New Testament
The Ngawn Chin people are one of the ethnic groups with a population of 21,000. They have some scripture portions, printed in 1951. The Ngawn Chin Common Language New Testament project was began in 1999 and completed in 2004. This is the first New Testament for the Ngawn Chin People and therefore they are yearning for printing in 2005.

11. Zanniat Chin Common language New Testament
The Zanniat Chin people are one of the ethnic minority groups with a population of 20,000. The Zanniat Chin became Christian since 1906. They have some Scripture portions which were printed in 1972. They have the whole Bible in their Language by the Church leaders without any advice or assistance of translation Consultant. The Bible Society of Myanmar conducted a workshop for them and reviewing was started and carried on by a committee of seven in 1998. The reviewing and checking was completed in 2004. This is the first New Testament for the Zanniat Chin and therefore they are hoping that they will have the word of God in their own language in the very near future.

12. Matu Chin commom Language New Testament
This project began in 1986, with Rev. Chan Thlend as translator. But due to the internal problems within the church, the project was suspended in 1989. The project was revived in 1992, with Saya Lung No and Rev. Lai Nou as translators. The translation was completed in 1997. The translation consultant checking and CAP checking were completed in 2004 and it would be ready for printing in 2005. Since this project took more than ten years to be completed the Matu Chin people are yearning to get their Biblr at the earliest possible.

14. Myanmar Bible ( Judson Version )
As Myanmar is the common language in Myanmar the Myanmar Bible (Burmese) is used by all Christians in Myanmar. There is also a growing demand of Myanmar Bible by the non Christians. Besides it is the greatest need for evangelism among the unreached majority people in Myanmar. As there are only few copies are left for distribution there is an urgent need for reprinting.

Therefore, we prayerfully and earestly invite the partnership in the Bible Ministry in Myanmar so that all the people in Myanmar will have the privilege of reading the scripture in the language they can understand and be transformed by the power of the word of God to know the truth and to have life in its fullness given by Our Lord Jesus Christ.
